AUGUST 1 - KISS 2017 OPENING DAY

KISS opened its 9th season with a concert at the FESTU Students Club.

 

This year KISS unites students from China, Korea and Japan. They are going to study Russian language and culture, Economy, Power Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

 

Among the honored guests and FESTU authorities who provided their welcome speeches for the ceremony were: Vice-Rector of FESTU Andrey Ganus, Consul General of China in Khabarovsk Guo Zhijun, Director of the Korean Centre in Khabarovsk Kwon Gi-yeol, Director of the Department for Interaction with Universities and Science Organizations (Department for Professional Education, Khabarovsk Krai Ministry of Education and Science) Alexei Sundukov and the Director of FESTU Department for International and Public Relations Svetlana Khan.

 

Official ceremony was followed by the singing and musical performances of KISS volunteers, teachers and guest artists - Ivan Karpov (balalaika playing), Alina Karpov (vocals), Alyona Drach (vocals), Maria Koryakina (flute playing), Olga Sergeeva (vocals) and others.

 

Khabarovsk International Summer School is the annual education event organized by FESTU’s International Office. The 1st Summer School was held in 2009 as a seminar for students who studied Russian as a foreign language. Since then KISS constantly grows and develops.

 

Here in KISS we welcome everyone who wants to improve language skills, prepare themselves for education process in FESTU or just have a good time during summer holydays. Nowadays KISS is an education project intended for adaptation of foreign students.
